3-1 would like to welcome our new class pets! Three hermit crabs arrived yesterday to help us with learning about habitats in science. We will be learning all about their characteristics and behaviors. Please check back frequently to see updates! The class voted on names today and here are the results:

(She is a speedy little crab, but enjoys a good nap, too!)

(This is one big crab! He probably weighs more than both of his terrarium mates combined!)
