November Student Challenge

This month's student challenge involves creating illusions. During science, students learned about the reason that the sun and moon appear to be the same size in the sky. Even though the sun is much larger than the moon, it is so much further away from the earth, which makes it appear much smaller than it really is. Students were encouraged to use this concept to create their own illusions. Take a look at their creative photographs below!

My Weekend with Swinger was Awesome

When I woke up I dashed downstairs and grabbed my kindle and sat down. I let swinger choose the game he chose ANGRY BIRDS and I chose the basketball chapter. We played for a long time. Then I got hungry grabbed my waffles. It looked so good that when I went to take a bite it was gone 30 seconds later. Swinger burped.  Then we finished breakfast. Then I got dressed. Then we went outside. Swinger ran to my football. Swinger threw my football. Then it started to rain. Then we watched the World Series. We were staring at the TV the top of the first to the seventh. Then we went to bed. Swinger said good morning before I went to bed.   The next day we watched TV and messed around.

A Weekend with Swinger

Swinger and I came back from school and were starving so I got some snack, but when I looked down Swinger was hanging on refrigerator trying to open it! Then, we ate some dinner and went to my sister's play Swinger loved it! After that Swinger went to sleep in his favorite place: mom’s bag and I went to sleep in my bed.

On Saturday we went to my basketball game. Swinger was going wild there! Then, we watched some TV. After that we went to a sleepover at my grandma’s house, but we forgot Swinger! The next morning Swinger and I went with my brother’s preschool to California Pizza Kitchen to make our own pizza [it was so loud even Swinger was covering his ears!] It was a good thing and my sisters and I got to sit at another table to make are pizza and eat it! When I went to put it in a take it to go bag I gave it to my mom because I needed to get some water but when I came back I saw Swinger with sauce all over his face and no more pizza in the bag!!! Then I went to my religious school we also brushed our teeth I wrote this and went to bed!!!
