We celebrated 3 days left of school by rearranging all the desks in the room. Students chose where they wanted to sit and what type of arrangement the desks would be in.
In celebration of 4 days left, students played a fun new game called "Good Morning Teacher."
To celebrate 5 days left of school, students chose new names that they wanted to be called for the day! There sure were some silly ones!

Third Grade Student Challenges
I am so proud of all the students
who completed various Student Challenges
throughout the school year. Bravo!
Chicago-opoly
As a culminating activity for our Chicago Unit in social studies, students each selected and researched a famous Chicago landmark. After synthesizing their notes into a descriptive paragraph students created a "Chicago-opoly" game board featuring the paragraphs and drawings for each landmark. Today students had the exciting opportunity to play the life-sized game! The students and teachers all learned many new facts!
6 Days Left of School
To celebrate 6 days left we played a competitive, yet fun, game of Name That Tune! Songs ranged from movie theme songs and popular songs on the radio, to video game themes and even our Dryden School song!

one more teaspoon of Borax and pour it into the large mixing bowl.
16.
Stir
the water and Borax mixture until the Borax has completely dissolved.
17.
Slowly
and carefully pour the green glue and water mixture into the Borax and water
mixture.
18.
Scrape
out the glue bowl with the spatula.
19.
Slowly
and carefully begin stirring the green glue, Borax, water mixture. Lift up the
spatula every few stirs to show the class what is happening.
20. Reach into the mixture
with your hands! Try pulling it all out and putting it into an empty bowl.

We celebrated 8 days left of school by eating lunch in the beautiful courtyard! Students enjoyed dining at picnic tables and on tree stump benches. We concluded our meal with a quick game of Courtyard Infection. We all had a blast!
